    Synphonic site gone..?

Is it just me, or is Greg Walker's Synphonic site gone?

    http://synphonic.8m.com/

EDIT: I've just been informed he has someone building him a new site - I was unaware of that obviously, I don't recall it being mentioned in any of his recent emails.

About time, I say. The old site was straight out of 1995.

Any idea of when it will be back up in one form or another?

I noticed this too, and Greg's site seems to be for sale. Hope not but then HMV just went into receivership apparently.
A new updated site would be welcomed and I hope that's all it is.

It seems to be long overdue for a refresh. I think that site was manually coded by a junior high school student in 1989!

Got an e-mail from Greg and he stated that Freeservers were terminating the sub domain. I am still having issues with the site. I get the main page and countries list but still has Freeservers pop up. May take more time to resolve the issues.

I noticed it too(I even started a thread without noticing this one). Glad to hear he is not going out of business. I think he should consider a new site anyway. It takes about four five clicks just to get to the country.

That's crazy, because last morning, I was still checking out his catalogue.

It would be cool if the updated site had an add to cart kind of button like laser's edge does. I agree his site was very dated. Maybe he can reduce some of the prices too. :P

Synphonicmusic.com is a much better domain name anyway.

Ok, I just received this message from Greg since I'm on his mailing list (some of you might not be):

    Hi Folks,

Happy New Year to you all!

Free Servers announced they were terminating the .8m sub domain so the
Syn-Phonic website has moved to www.synphonicmusic.com. This will also
be the web address to the revamped website that should be ready by
    year's end.

    Thanks!

Congratulations on your new URL, Greg! I hope that works well for you. I think you will get more search hits with that name.

Yeah, like from people who accidentally type in synphonic instead of symphonic.
