    RIP Carrie Fisher

    http://abc7ny.com/entertainment/actr...-says/1674967/
    Farewell sweet Princess...

    Thought she was recovering.

Carrie Fisher, the actress best known as Star Wars‘ Princess Leia Organa, has died after suffering a heart attack. She was 60.

Family spokesman Simon Halls released a statement on behalf of Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd:

“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,” reads the statement.

“She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”

This really hurts. I was 7 when I saw the original Star Wars movie, so I grew up on the original trilogy. RIP. 😢

Wow. Last news report I heard at 7:00 this morning on the way out to work said she was coming along. Must have been too much damage done by the heart attack.

Looking forward to my day in court.

Wow. Very sad. Well, she'll be seen nearly as much as Judy Garland I reckon, so she won't be forgotten.

What, did 2016 decide that there was going to be a major loss every day of the last week?

She just finished shooting another SW movie and was signed to appear in the third. Damn damn damn. RIP to our general, our princess, and one of the best script doctors in Hollywood.

Sad news. Last I heard she was recovering in hospital. Rest in peace, Carrie.

Wow, terribly sad. So young. I really enjoyed her take on things, feisty indeed. She will be missed.

She wrote both the book & co-wrote the screenplay for the (somewhat autobiographical) film Postcards From The Edge w/Meryl Streep & Shirley McLaine.

Yeah, I heard she was doing better...although I'm honestly not surprised by the news.

She also voiced Angela, Peter's boss at the Pawtucket Brewery on Family Guy.

Just saw her last night, at the end of Rogue One. She looked OK then. I guess you never know

Wow 2016 has really been the shits. All of her Star Wars friends, especially Harrison Ford must be hurting. But more painful I'm certain for her mother, Debbie Reynolds. RIP
