Y'know theatrics aside, I gotta say I like the 1978 song, whatever its called.
Ah, Manakin. Saw them a few times here in Los Angeles, a couple of small clubs that could barely hold all their equipment on the tiny stages. IIRC, the keyboard player was lugging around a full-on Hammond B3 (or C3?), what a nightmare for whoever their roadies were. They were highly unoriginal, but a lot of fun. Last time I saw them, they'd ditched the whole prog thing and become a *shudder* New Wave band *shudder*. Yikes.
