Maybe explain what, exactly, you're talking about?

    Interesting idea.

I've always fancied myself as a decent writer, but much like when I tried to become a musician, I don't have the talent to create something that I feel would be consistent with the things I like to listen to/read. I'm not good enough at music or writing to create something that I feel is worthy.

Which brings even more admiration to those who are so good at these things.

I tried it a couple of years back and lost interest after a week. Maybe I’ll try again in the future if I feel motivated.

this year was a reworking of several ideas I have had into a single piece. It's a novel concerning a character-Dave-who is recurring in short stories I write.

Another reference to this "NaNoWriMo" thing.

An interesting read, and what looks like some interesting SF.

    Actually, neither.

He was created initially to replace another recurring character I felt did not work well and was initially a folk singer.

The story involves a serial killer who has been terrorizing a town for decades, storage units belonging to a dead paleontologist, a missing white supremacist and an author who was an oddities collector, and a supernatural creature who keeps appearing at the door of Dave's study...
