    There has been:

Goblin Rebirth (Fabio Pignatelli - their album was superb.)
Claudio Simonetti's Goblin (I don't like them much.)
New Goblin (With Simonetti & most of the classic lineup - they existed the same time as Goblin Rebirth as both came out of a split of Goblin)
BackToTheGoblin2005 (Most of the classic guys minus Simonetti)

There was also, at one point, Goblin Keys.

UB40, two rival bands, fighting it out in court last I knew. I think they just about top Yes for global sales.

It would be interesting to work through which HOF inductees have had battles over the band name. ELO would be one example.

Maybe in sales of singles, but surely not albums? Plus Yes had a good few years start on the Brummy lot.

I've seen figures of 30 million for Yes and 75 million for UB40 in records worldwide... but "records" could mean either.

Wikipedia tells me that UB40 have had 3 Platinum albums in the US, and a triple Platinum, two double Platinum and two single Platinum albums in the UK, plus a six times Platinum and another single Platinum for compilations in the UK. That's fewer Platinum certifications than Yes in the US, but lots more in the UK. Definitely did better on singles. I think we can call them of comparable size.
