the lead singer and keyboard player? his name is steve hogarth. shortly afterwards he formed a rather good avant-pop duo called “how we live”, who very much had an early period TALK TALK vibe. no idea what happened to him after that, though.

heureka! apparently he did a solo album in 1996/7ish. richard barbieri, formerly of japan, played keyboards on it. might be worth tracking down.
