While I am late to the party, right on Frankie. I love the clear Zappa influence here and the fun factor is so clear, for me. Love it.

Any time any one speaks to me about any musical project, the one absolute given is "it will not make big money". [tip of the hat to HK]

please add 'imo' wherever you like, to avoid offending those easily offended.

What's the word on Spratley's Japs / Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Drake? (or whatever it's called! )

We are getting the Special Garage Concerts, M&M Smith + Drake and Spratley's Japs.

We are NOT getting the Sea Nymphs, because the copies they have are not 'perfect' and while people won't complain to the ALPHABET BUSINESS CONCERN directly, out of fear of retribution, they would complain to me.

Does anybody know what is the tune in 3/4 that starts about 2 minutes after "Will Blend Amen" ends?

Cardiacs, Hatfield, and Cow are still the best bands ever. This has been scientifically proven.

Admirable sentiment, but I would personally put National Health (especially Of Queues and Cures) ahead of Hatfield.

"A Balloon for Bertie's Party" is an incredible tune. A masterful little epic with a million twists and turns. There is an instrumental section where Tim wrote a series of chord changes that is SO beautiful and original - it just slays me. Fucking genius stuff. Also, of course the guitars are monstrous, but the rhythm section is also right there. Bob Leith is a really really great drummer - he grooves like a mother and has sick chops. And Jim! The guy is perfect! Easily the most under-appreciated bass players between London and Arkansas.

We have a limited number of Mr & Mrs Smith; I don't know if the label has more or not, but we didn't get our full order.

The others we have what I think is the 'right' number, but one never knows. I should be able to get more soon enough...
