No mention of these from the mightee Alphabet. I do not think these are legit.

Just add some multiband compression. Remaster = done
From the cobweb fb page: "As far as we are aware, the licenses for the music here
have either expired or never existed. they were mostly
either self-released, bootlegged or released on DIY punk
labels that are now long-defunct. please get in touch if you
are an artists featured to have the material taken down or
would like to come to an arrangement"
A Big Noise in Toytown is new to me. I have to admit that I find the whole Cardiacs repertoire confusing in the sense that I discovered it late in their careers, so for the most part I haven't a clue historically speaking. I do really like this track ABNIT, I can't help but notice how much Tim sounds like the other Smith guy, Robert of the Cure...

That "Best of" bandcamp bootleg contains a track called 'Bits & Bobs'. This is actually 'Piffol Six Times', I think.

This is basically the first two cassette albums plus a few live tracks right? I can't imagine they'd ever be released officially. I think the Garage Concerts were a way of underlining that particular period. They sound about 83,000x better as well.
It's 'A Big Noise In A Toy World' btw, some of those song titles are wrong.
Yup, checking Cobwebs bandcamp homepage they are no longer listed/

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
Yup - gone. Too much pressure from the Pond and ABC is not an enemy you want around.
Having played more than 3/4 of CARDIACS BEST OF THE EARLY YEARS REMASTERED BOOTLEG last night in the basement, I have to say that it was SHEER BLISS!! It is an excellent recording and a must for all fans of this wonderful band. I believe that it is good enough in it's present form, to be a legit release and should be picked up by ABC or CUNEIFORM.

Let's bump this back up to page 1!!!
Tonight on Gideon Coe's show on BBC 6MUSIC, they're playing an old session (don't know which one) from Cardiacs and Gong live.
Should be a good show.
