    New Justin Hayward album

Sorry if this was already posted. I just saw on the Moody Blues website that Justin will be putting out a new solo album in February- "Spirits of the Western Sky". I will give it a listen.

Absolutely one of my all-time favorite songwriter/vocalists (and an underrated guitarist).

the real treat would be if he toured behind it.

totally agree! I have seen them live many times and always enjoy the show. I wonder why not many speak of his guitar playing.

There's a guy on another forum that I frequent that goes on and on about Hayward's guitar playing, saying he's "better" than both Howe and Hackett.

    Frankly, I don't get it.

What are some examples of his virtuosity?

I am not sure he is in Howe' league. Pull up some of his songs and take a close listen. Interested in your opinion.

He's more of a songwriter than guitarist. He isn't a par with Howe or Hackett but in lieu of that he sings better than both combined.
