Gentle Giant: The Power And The Glory covers

Periodically on my radio show I will construct a bizarro world version an album that is having an anniversary. I was wondering if any of these Gentle Giant songs from "TP&TG" have been covered by other artists? Either studio or live. I've marked those I have found so far. My next show is this Saturday and "TP&TG" has an anniversary this week.

Proclamation (Rachel Flowers on Soundcloud; Mr. Bill & Anklepants on YouTube)
So Sincere (Off Topic Ensemble on YouTube)
Aspirations (Always Almost on "God Pounds His Nails"; Page on "Giant For A Life"; Takwin Process on YouTube)
Playing The Game (AsZension on YouTube)
Cogs In Cogs (Three Friends on YouTube; Off Topic Ensemble on You Tube; Louie Mastro on "Giant For A Life")
No God's A Man (Mike Keneally on "Giant Steps")
The Face (adapted for woodwinds by Paul Morelli on YouTube)
    *Valedictory
    *The Power And The Glory

Still looking for a cover of "Valedictory". I'll use the GG "The Power & The Glory" since it's a a CD era bonus track.

"Aspirations" was covered by Always Almost (Brett, Paul and Ray from Echolyn) on their CD "God Pounds His Nails".

Giant Tracks. Right. I have that somewhere here. Good. Two down seven to go. Under the rules that Deep Nuggets Radio operates by I can play three from the album and a total of four by GG in any 3 hour block so I can get a live GG track in there. So this might be doable if I can find three or four more covers.

There's the Mellow Records tribute to Gentle Giant. I was forgetting about it. That I have for sure. It has "Cogs In Cogs" and "Aspirations" so I have options. I think I can get to 8 tunes at this point if I use any combo of GG live/studio up to 4 tunes.

"Periodically on my radio show I will construct a bizarro world version an album..."

Obviously, not from the same album, nevertheless I feel compelled by the purpose of this thread to mention Jordan Rudess's version of "Just the Same"; just in case you might want to do the same with Freehand.

    What a killer re-take!

The Takwin Process album Winter Tales including Aspirations can be downloaded for free here

    http://www.mentalchemyrecords.com/wintertales.htm

These are actually members of the Italian Prog bands Mogador, Trewa and Sarastro Blake etc.

There might be a second album soon...

I wish I had time to hit the studio this week. It would be fun to record a "Valedictory" cover with IZZ. Best of luck!

An IZZ cover of "Valedictory" would be a very cool thing indeed!

I didn't get to this last night. Looks like it will be a project for next Saturday's show.
