No. He's been pretty quiet the last ten years or so.

It was actually Gilda Radner's house but left it to Gene after she passed away from ovarian cancer in 89.

He loved her so much, he swore he would die in that house.

And he was true to his promise.

RIP, he will be missed around these parts...

Little bit of trivia. Many don't realize that, when they filmed "Young Frankenstein," they used the same laboratory props that were used in the original Universal "Frankenstein" movies.

I did not know that, that's awesome! I really need to watch that film again, haven't seen it in years.

Mel Brooks says Madeline Khan ad libbed the words "no tongues" during the farewell scene with Gene at the railroad station.

The outtakes and flub reel for Young Frankenstein is as funny as the movie.
Compact Disk brought high fidelity to the masses and audiophiles will never forgive it for that

I remember hearing that in an interview a long time ago. I think I remember that Brooks tracked it down to some dudes basement. Most old movie props got reconfigured, repurposed, or just thrown away. There seemed to be a lot of synergy in the making of YF.

It was the guy who originally built the props, Kenneth Strickfaden. Brooks wanted to recreate them, and got in touch, and Ken had the props in his garage.
