Poor Genetic Material - new album "Absence (Alias Eye, Poor Genetic Material

My band Poor Genetic Material will be releasing a new album entitled "Absence" on Sept 16th.
It was a real pleasure writing and recording this album - singing with my father (Martin Griffiths, Beggars Opera) is always a wonderful experience! Listen to an edited track below and let me know what you think:

    Cheers Phil -

Your septuagenarian fanboy just ordered from Quixote.

Don't know if you watch the Olympics, but there was a gold medal US distance runner whose father was also an Olympic gold medalist. He has "Like Father Like Son" tattooed on his chest. Not a suggestion, just an analogy.

Thanks, progeezer; thank God analogies carry more meaning than the real thing! ;-) All the best and keep on progging!

We have just released a single from our current album "Absence". "Chalkhill Blues" (plus the shorter songs from the album) is available as a 4-track-EP for download and streaming.

And there also is a video for "Chalkhill Blues":

As the song's title comes from a rare butterfly species that can almost exclusively be found on and around Solsbury Hill in Wiltshire, this video features some footage of it. (And other somehow famous hills - like Hergest Ridge and Yes Tor.) Just in case you're interested in that sort of things ;-)

    Cheers and greetings from
