    Pete Way hospitalized

Get well soon Pete Way. (On his fb page)

My husband Pete Way has collapsed after a short business trip to Germany and is currently in hospital being treated by cardiologists. He has had a heart attack and a blood clot has been found on his lung. Needless to say I am in bits but Pete is fighting like he always does. We are NOT going to lose another one. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers

Easily one of the best and most underrated bass players. Saw him many times with UFO in the early 80's.

I really rate the late 70s UFO stuff, hope he pulls through.

Wishing you a speedy recovery, Pete.

I saw UFO in the mid '70s. Fantastic!

I've been kind of upset that the USA will not let him back in the country. I never got to see UFO with Pete on bass. He's seemed unhealthy for quite awhile now. Get well Pete!

    Get well, Pete.

I love that run of UFO albums with Schenker. Hell, even the first one with Chapman is pretty good, imo.

I saw the reunion tour with Schenker and Raymond around '95 in a tiny club. Great show.
