Jawja's quarterback play was atrocious in the 2nd half, and that really hurt them too. How many passes did Jake Fromm throw that were impossible for his receivers to catch? Passes in the flat that were 3 feet over their head. It was like watching Bortles without the end-over-end ball rotation. Plenty of 3 and outs as a result.

All you need to do is play good normal defense with no bonehead breakdowns for 2 more plays and you win. And they then let a WR run down the sideline wide open. George Plimpton could have completed that pass. Unfrickinbelievable.
    No. Not sick.

That was a great Georgia team, and there hasn’t been a team that good in a long time between the hedges.

No. It feels like the start of something good.

Anyone see the new kickoff rule in college football? A fair catch made anywhere inside the 25 will result in the ball being placed at the 25.

Is this another move to limit risk of injury? I get it. The sport of gridiron football is in crisis.

ESPN just published their B1G & ACC Power Rankings. Anyone ready for some football?

Re the Big 14, all I know is I'm looking forward to Michigan being 0-1 around 11 pm on Sept 1.

I'm wondering how long they will blindly follow Harbaugh. This should be the year the worm turns. If ESPN's fifth place projection turns out, I would expect it will get hot in Ann Arbor by the end of the year.

Yep, and that will be a much more awkward situation than RichRod or Lloyd Carr.

I am hoping for a big upset the following weekend when WMU travels to the Big House.

Wow, didn't know. Hopefully we can rough em up and wrinkle the khakis the week before so you can kick em when they're down. You going to go?

Not sure yet. I will be at the season opener against Syracuse here in Kalamazoo, but Ann Arbor is still up in the air at this point. I am not a huge fan of Michigan's stadium. They pack you in like sardines, and the place is so huge it is kind of a hassle, but I have not ruled it out yet.

Maybe. Maybe not. Right now I'd keep my wallet in my pants, though.

We're only hearing one side now, but it doesn't look good.

Ohio State just put Meyer on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.

Wow. I have only read a little bit about this so I'm going to hold my opinion until I hear more facts. But doesn't look good if they've already taken that step.

He very well could lose his job over this, and it was so avoidable. It's all down to his loyalty to Earle Bruce, but it may bite him in the ass.

For Buckeye fans, this is a gut punch for sure, but if he knew and did nothing, he's got to go.

What's the connection to Bruce--was the asst an old Bruce guy?

Bruce was Urban's mentor, and the wife beater is Earle's grandson.

The concensus view among Cleveland's sports talk hosts is that Meyer has coached his last game for the Buckeyes.
