    I agree.

I was always intrigued by that first Suicide album, but i could never really tell if I liked it or not.

I have seen Suicide back on the mid-80s on the same bill with Band of Holy Joy and it was one of the most intense performances I ever witnessed.

I also have a high regard on the mutative take on swamp rock'n'blues of Alan Vega's 1980 debut LP.

Suicide was the band that got me into the punk scene. Goodbye, Alan.

Alan and Suicide were really great and original. I mean, they were doing that stuff starting in 1970! Yow!

I felt that way for a long time, but eventually I completely succumbed to its charms.

Note the early date of this and the use of the term 'punk'!
