After many years of saying that I should be going, this year I'm really going to try to go. If I do, this will be my first Progday. A good friend who recently relocated to NC has offered me a place to stay and made the trip more financially feasible than it has been in the past. Should know in about 2-3 weeks whether or not I can make it.

The Accuweather forecast now shows 90, 87. Probably more realistic.

Yeh sure, and likely a long term average driven prediction. It is sort of joke to predict this far ahead of time.

I agree, but then why has their forecast change so drastically from the one you posted?

The October ProgDay was a mixed bag. Saturday was beautiful with temps in the mid 70’s. Might have been the nicest day ever. Sunday……yea them temp dropped, the wind blew up, and it was freaking cold. I am from Michigan, so should be used to it, but by the end of that day I was ready to go anywhere indoors with a heater.

I was at the NC Seafood festival in Morehead City that Sunday, and we froze until we huddled under a tent with heaters. Weirdest weather ever on the coast that day.

Dang, Thank You Scientist is playing at Local 506 the Saturday AFTER Progday (9/10) - wish this could be changed to the Saturday of Progday! Or that they could play at Progday itself. I think they played Progday once before - I wasn't at that one, but I saw them on CTTE 2015 and loved them!
