Search for "Beatles" in Search Titles Only only brings up 37 threads. How are we expected to compete with Steve Hoffman Music Forums with so few Beatles threads?

What? I'm serious! Who is the better drummer, Ringo Starr or Charlie Watts?

I'd say Ringo was perfect for the Beatles, and Charlie fit the Stones just right

Better to start a thread when you have something to say, maybe?

While The Beatles was the first band whose music I was into as a kid (especially the more psych stuff) I've never really been very interested in their personal lives or stories for some reason.

Ok, done. Revolver was a surreal album cover that worked.

The Beatles are one of a handful of bands that I can truly "binge" on - I do not get tired of their songs. When I hear one, I tend to want to hear more. Not all bands do that for me. Just a few: Stones, Yes, Moon Safari, Rush... They are the opposite of most bands that I still love, but can only take in smaller doses. It may have to do with the size or their catalogs. But it also has to do with the breadth of the type of music.

The thing I like about the Beatles is that I can listen to earlier R&R style Fabs, without having to pull out the Elvis records, and just keep moving forward until I get to Abby Road!

It's all so different, how can anyone get bored with it? I get hooked on it all so easily. I've been collecting for about 40 years, have thousands of unreleased recordings and still can't get enough.

I filled a thumb drive with something like 344 Beatles songs, and play it in my car on shuffle. Hard to believe sometimes that all these great and varied songs are by the same four guys.

Pick One: A Hard Day's Night, Help or Yellow Submarine?

AHDN is the better of the movies for sure.

Help doesn't hold up as well, although it's still fun to watch. To think how stoned they were during the filming ...

I love Yellow Submarine, but they really had nothing to do with it, aside from the outro.

AHDN is the better album of those three. It regularly contends as my favorite Beatles album period.

Their first album with all originals. A lot of it still sounds fresh today.

As solo artists I like John the best. I've always though his music was more meaningful.
