If you're actually reading this then chances are you already have my last album but if NOT and you're curious:

back to the discipline versus beat TOAPP argument one reason I prefer beat and especially TOAPP (probably my favorite KC studio album aside from maybe Red) is that the songs on discipline in most cases were better live especially indiscipline. I hardly ever listen the the studio album discipline and when I do indiscipline always shocks me cause I am so used to the unhinged live versions. but I have gotten a lot of joy with this new set listening to beat and TOAPP although in many cases their songs were better live too there are the gems that were never played live model man has really grown on me and the new extended requiem.

if we only had those three albums in a vacuum it is hard to say I still think TOAPP would win for me but I like a little pop with my prog.

As a little diversion here is a nice cover by Front Country, a young Bay Area progressive bluegrass band.

Just read your review of KC's Three Of A Perfect Pair. While this album is not my favorite from Crimson, it has moments with "Sleepless" and the title track. And indeed, Robert Fripp's interest in the band was waning at this time. He went on record saying that Discipline was the best album for this lineup and that the band wouldn't have made TOAPP (or Beat) if there wasn't a contract with EG for three albums.

Adrian Belew reviewed my TOAPP review on Facebook today:

"I'll give it a B-. some true misconceptions preventing the A it could have been given. good writing though. assuming the inner-workings of a complex band of musicians is dangerous turf. "
