maybe they will have time to record a new album, it's been 12 years since the last one. and have a reason to tour!

They finished mixing an album about 4-6 months ago. Releasing it, well, that's another task...

The Live Nation web site still has the shows on it. I even called them and they said they had not received word from the promoter the shows had been cancelled or postponed. I wish someone would get around to that. I have a ticket for the June 9 Indianapolis show.

    That's odd.

A friend of mine had tickets for an Oklahoma date and she received an email from the venue saying that the show was postponed (TBA) and she could keep the tickets for the rescheduled date, or return the tickets for a refund.

Even the venue (Murat Theater at Old National Centre) still lists the show. Maybe I'll call them and see if I can convince them it's cancelled.

i wonder if a 'family illness' was the real reason or if it could have been poor ticket sales.

The Grand Rapids MI show sold out the day tickets went on sale as I had no luck getting any. The venue is small (around 2000), but there still appears to be quite a demand in this area at least.

if it's true that's fine. but it's not the first time tours are canceled because of low ticket sales.

I can assure you that I am not making it up. The show sold out in a day. 2000 seat venue at $75 a pop.

The Oklahoma shows and a couple of others were either sold out or near capacity. They did not cancel/postpone these shows due to anything concerning ticket sales.

I just came across this TFF cover of Peter Gabriel's "Digging in the Dirt" from 1996. Does anyone know if that's Nick D'Virgilio on drums? It kind of looks like him, but I can't tell. I don't know if he started playing with them that early.

(sorry, I know this isn't related to the tour, but it's the busiest TFF thread I could find)
