Crap... They were gonna play Spokane. Oh well.
Still alive and well...
maybe they will have time to record a new album, it's been 12 years since the last one. and have a reason to tour!
They finished mixing an album about 4-6 months ago. Releasing it, well, that's another task...
The Live Nation web site still has the shows on it. I even called them and they said they had not received word from the promoter the shows had been cancelled or postponed. I wish someone would get around to that. I have a ticket for the June 9 Indianapolis show.
The venue near me also still has it listed as postponed.
Even the venue (Murat Theater at Old National Centre) still lists the show. Maybe I'll call them and see if I can convince them it's cancelled.
i wonder if a 'family illness' was the real reason or if it could have been poor ticket sales.
if it's true that's fine. but it's not the first time tours are canceled because of low ticket sales.
i hope their new CD gets released. it's been 12 years since the last (great) one.
So is everyone healthy in TFF? Here's hoping whoever is ill gets better!
"Always ready with the ray of sunshine"
I just came across this TFF cover of Peter Gabriel's "Digging in the Dirt" from 1996. Does anyone know if that's Nick D'Virgilio on drums? It kind of looks like him, but I can't tell. I don't know if he started playing with them that early.
(sorry, I know this isn't related to the tour, but it's the busiest TFF thread I could find)
