Accidentally bought a cd I already own

At Rosfest I picked up the first album by Eyestrings which it turns out I already have a copy of. I was skeptical when I saw it but for some reason bought it anyway thinking it was another band with a similar name I have. I was wrong and so now I'm stuck with two copies of the same cd. It's technically used but in very good condition(no scratches or anything on the playing side). I would like to trade for something similar(although not necessarily). Please pm me a list if you have one(or post it here).

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

I have 2 copies of Le Orme's Florian. You are not alone, Mike.

    You like Italian prog?

I accidently bought a Haindling album twice.
I also have an Ina Deter CD, which contains most of her debut with the members of Hölderlin playing most instruments. Bought it to give to another Hoelderlin fan, but lost contact.
And I have Six wives from Rick Wakeman twice, I suppose because one of them didn't play anymore.

If you don't have the one I mentioned I'll trade if you are interested.

I do like Italian prog especially PFM and Banco. The only Le Orme I've heard is Felona e Serona. The one you mentioned is all acoustic I believe.

My wife is no longer allowed to buy CDs because of the duplicates we have. Now, she simply gives me Amazon certificates because I'm the only one who knows what we have in the collection.

I seriously doubt it would happen if you listen to the cd more than two times. The thing is I have so many cds I haven't even played yet. Since I don't regularly look at them(especially the ones I haven't played)I don't have them all memorized. Also, I keep many of them in cd wallets. I'm hoping this will be the last time this happens.

It just shows how much you love the music! Buy it eight times! Give away the albums. Buy them eight more times!

The first album I bought twice was
Bo Hansson - Music inspired by Watership down. I allready had a Bo Hansson album entitled El-ahrairah. Different track-titles, different amount of tracks, but the same music.

Haha, I've never done that but I have re bought albums that I had previously got rid of:

Rush: Counterparts & Test For Echo (no way am I ever re buying Vapor Trails though!)
    Steven Wilson - Insurgentes

I realised these albums weren't as bad as I thought ...

    Once if we're lucky.

Some of us (Ahem, Me!) have done it too many times!

I think the only CD I ever accidentally bought twice was Zappa's Them Or Us.

I've done it a couple of times, from home where my list is readily available! No excuses. And to Zomby guy - you're still too young to suffer from this malaise, but your time will come.

I have a database of all my CDs, so it's easy to print a list.

I bought Steven Wilson's remix of Yes' Fragile thinking I somehow never had bought the CD but I had the remaster from the 00's already. No big whoop.

I had done that years ago with Purple's Fireball and couldn't bring it back, so I gave one copy to my GF's nephew for his BD

It happened more recently with AZ (via Syn-phonic), because of these stupid new artworks (two of them are very similar (Le Jour Où Les Cités and Odyssée)

Greg told me I could mail it back and he's refund me on my next order...
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
