Well a whole lot of great artists to pick from. Some of mine would be:

Lotus (my favorite on a nostalgic summer afternoon)
Bo Hansson (my favorite on a late fall cloudy afternoon)
Flower Kings (my favorite when I want more variety)
    Anglagard (my favorite at night)

    And then on rare occasions:

    Agents of Mercy
    Anekdoten
    Nad Sylvan/Unifaun

Opeth gets a honorable mention but no place on the list because I'm not too fond of their "full-on prog" albums.

Actually, I'd say decade. You have to go back to Paradox Hotel (10 years ago) for their last really great release. The three studio albums since then have all been disappointing and even the live Tour Kaputt was weaker than their previous live releases.

    Pain of Salvation
    Opeth
    Ankedoten
    Beardfish

These are all at the top of my favorite bands of all time...

agree! Desolation Rose is one of my favorites. Only weak spot I find in the last 3 is the epic "Numbers" from Banks. But I love the rest of the album.

Not for me. "The Sum Of No Evil" is one of my favorite albums ever. Absolutely love tracks 1, 2 & 6, plus the bonus disc. Also love Tour Kapputt. After that though, they dropped the ball.

Just recently been checking out Dungen, jury's still out.
