That was awesome! The hurdy gurdy is just a wonder to behold. It is truly the duck-billed platypus of the music world.
Album & tour too much to hope for?
Sea shanties are the new prog!!

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

I have loved AH for years!
On the subject of instruments, have a look at this. I first heard the Swedish nyckelharpa over 30 years ago. It looks a bit like and sounds a bit like a hurdy-gurdy, which is its nearest relative. Often gets incorrectly called a hurdy-gurdy.

Love it!
Now that's what I call a mash up! Take one sea shanty and an old African American Folk song where a train is the mode of transportation, and weave them together into one!
Here are examples of them individually. You'll notice some variation in the words, but that's common with "the Folk process." :

Wayside has it. Is the above clip pretty much what to expect for the whole album?
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.
Ordered it earlier this week

I get the feeling that this will be best experienced when a track comes round on shuffle and you get a silly grin on your face.

Have heard lots of this on Ian's splendid radio show. My copy is on the way from Genepool (I plumped for the aquamarine vinyl).

OH man, I love this! Just got it today in the mail. Thanks brother Kavus.
If her vocals had been mixed to the front and his dominant voice mixed back it would've won me over. As it is, it's a fun diversion.
