I forgot about this band... heard them a couple times years ago and got lost somewhere. Nice guitar tone. Reminds me a bit of McLaughlin's tone with Lifetime and Larry Young sometimes.

Their debut is atypical of the jazz rock stuff that came out of german small labels in the late 70s, - early 80s. There are nods to the earlier 70s sound; a cross between 2nd Dzyan and some Association PC and a jazzier Electric Circus. However Ceddo are less interesting than the aforementioned.

Haven't listened in depth to any of their next works because gradually the music took a twist towards cruise ship lounge slick carribean influenced jazz-muzak. I think the Sagittarius label that issued all of their stuff was their own private release vehicle.
