Man, this Louisiana Hayride set is the HEAVIEST box set I've ever known. Insane. Country must be the heaviest music!

It was funny to open a big box set and not find a bunch of reproduced ephemera! Actually, while the weight is largely from the 225-pg, 12 x 12 hardcover book, it's also from the box itself, which is reinforced from a very nice, sturdy cardboard "frame" that all the digipaks fit into.

Looking forward to the unboxing video! Amazing that they shipped such a behemoth box set all the way from Germany in just 2-3 days!
I ordered it from Amazon, but apparently Bear Family does actually ship it to the US within just a few days.
You guys gotta hear this. Marty Stuart (and His Fabulous Superlatives) have recorded a "psychedelic western" album with Mike Campbell formerly of Tom Petty's Heartbreakers producing. Kinda like Marty Robbins/Buck Owens on LSD.
