Good Grief! Can we also find out what he ate for breakfast that morning? Sheesh. I get that certain things are of public record, but sometimes it's just too much, imho.

I agree that this post serves no purpose and is tasteless, I'm sorry to say. I hope that it's removed.

I think the purpose was to tell us what we already knew or suspected.

Horrified that a thread was even started about this.

Can't we just honor the man by admiring his music and accomplishments without trying to find or figure out every morbid detail of his tragic death?

    Good grief.

First of all, this info was mentioned in the RIP thread and someone said that they would like to see the actual report. And, I think reading the facts is better than the gossip.

Plus, if you didn't want to see it, you shouldn't have looked at this thread.

I'd like to see some murder scene photos, too. Can you make that happen?

I looked at the thread, but not your post.

    He was Caucasian?

Again, I really don't care about any of this - who the hell knows what it was like to be him?

I have no problem with it. I have wondered a bit how / why his looks changed so much over the years. Botox or something else? Not that its my business, and I live very well whithout ever getting to know, but i wondered . . .

    Cripes.

Trying to imagine the mindset that makes even looking for the report seem like a good idea.

Then the mindset that makes posting it seem like a good idea.

Then stopping. No point trying to understand the stuff dickheads do.

But was he the Coroner of Grief? Was he set in the belief he'd be saved? From the grave?

  17. #17
Count me among the ones who find this interesting and useful information. Facts in black and white (well blue and white) rather than the Daily Mail blaming willy nilly factors for sensationalism.

I'm not sure why on earth a coroner would put anything about "depression" or "chronic alcohol" on such a report. How could they determine anything about depression from an autopsy? And does this indicate the results of an alcohol blood test?

Good point about somehow being able to detect depression.

I don't see the point of posting this report. I think Keith's family deserves privacy.

I don't see the point of your reading something that you object to and then taking the time to comment on it.

    1. I started a separate thread so that those who were interested could read it and those who weren't could avoid.
And, not put it in the RIP thread.

    2. I posted public domain facts without comment.

    3. The RIP thread has pages of speculation on they whys and wherefores of Emerson's depression. Go complain about about that.

So, why don't you pearl clutchers retire to your fainting couches and give your faux outrage a rest?
