Also in Denmark we have this kind of craphousing, this is built in the 60'ties http://www.arkitekturbilleder.dk/images/444i2.jpg
But they are building similar stuff today. Sooner or later it gets crowded with only poor people.

Watch out for the fellow who talks about putting things in order! Putting things in order always means getting other people under your control.

There's a house in my neighborhood, a Cape Cod, like mine. But, it has a hideous addition that looks like another house came over the hill and started humping it. I see a lot of that. Another neighbor decided to design his own addition. The only problem is that he's not an architect, and it shows. I guess he wanted to save some money. However, hiring a qualified architect more than pays for itself with what they bring to the table. (I see a lot of that in my own industry. People try to do their own marketing and don't realize how much they're hurting their businesses.)

Copenhagen Town Hall Square - this house is NOT under construction and newly built (3 years ago) and owned by The Confederation of Danish Industry:

I can't believe they're still building these tower blocks. They always end up the same way unless phenomenal amounts of money are spent on them, putting them out of reach of anyone but millionaires.

These are (or were) the Red Road Flats in Glasgow...at the time the tallest residential structures in western Europe. Built in the 1970s, deemed uninhabitable by normal people by the 1980s, so used as student accommodation. By about 2000 even the students wouldn't go near them, so used to house asylum seekers. Finally demolished last year

Oh yes, this is very similar to my house, just a little more tidy

Well, I definitely qualify But you're right that this kind of stuff is everywhere, even in Italy with its long tradition of architectural masterpieces.

I don't think it's that ugly. But well, I like some modern architecture.

I don't really care for fake old buildings.

101 California. Might I add, brilliant architecture for an earthquake zone?

One Rincon Hill, popularly known as Ionic Breeze Towers.

An incomplete, yet nonetheless hideous block of luxury apartments being built in Hercules, CA. This Google Maps image doesn’t do this blight on the landscape justice. They’re closer to completion than when these images were taken, and it’s not getting any prettier.

Me too. Fun fact: Le Corb actually wanted to raze Paris’ historic center to the ground and rebuild it with symmetrically aligned high-rises. Bit of an ego.

What about - Denmark’s Fyn island, Villa Korup is a large home designed for a family of six. A collaboration between Danish architect Jan Henrik Jansen and Australian architect Marshall Blecher, Villa Korup, which features three elongated “wings”, was prefabricated offsite using weathered steel and CLT panels. Where are old beautiful village house with wood carving, not simply 3D printed ones? let them be done even by electric wood engraving tools

Aventine is now complete, and as predicted, an absolute eyesore. Yuck!

I took a liking to some of the old communist Brutalism, in particular the Spomenik constructed during Tito's regime. These were monuments commemorating battles. Some are demolished ot severely damaged, but others have been restored or preserved. Here's a site to them:
    https://yomadic.com/yugoslavian-monuments-map/

Another interesting bit of Brutalism is the Buzludzha in Bulgaria. It was built to be Communist headquarters, but is now vandalized and in ruins:
