A Comfort Zone is not a Life Sentence
After what has happened in recent years, I advocate getting rid of divisions. Keep conferences, dump divisions and give each team an equal distribution across ranking. Seed is determined purely by overall record like now but in comparison to all teams in the conference.
How to choke and fuck your season : The Raiders (the loss to KC made them WC and they lose to Houston)
my music collection increased tenfolds when I switched from drug-addicts to complete nutcases.
I like divisions and playing your rivals twice. And with recent NFL scheduling, usually two out of your last 3 games are against your division rivals. It makes for good football in December and you're fighting for position. There will always be a quality wild card team that "gets the shaft" as it were. This year it was the Giants, but they did do their best to win the division.
And usually wild-card weekend is one of the best football weekends from an entertainment standpoint. This year the games just happened to be a bit predictable with the exception of the Pack/Giants which was the class game of the weekend of course.
WANTED: Sig-worthy quote.
that was one of the worst Wild Card weekends ever. Not a single close game! Will the home teams prevail next week also?

Not all of them.

Houston has no shot imo but the other 3 road teams will make it interesting in their respective games. I even expect the Steelers to prevail over KC, provided Ben is OK to go.

I see the best chance for the road teams to be in the NFC.
Seahawks have a shot, maybe not a great shot, but a shot.

They were the team I was rooting for to play the Falcons. I believe the Falcons will beat them in Atlanta. In Seattle, it would have been a different story.
I don't see Dallas beating Green Bay. I don't see the Falcons beating Green Bay at this point.
Super Bowl will likely be Green Bay Vs. New England.
Beckham should have played with his shirt off. He has a lot of growing up to do, if he really wants a Super Bowl ring.
The Giants got beaten so badly that NFL Mobile confused them with the Jets:

He's been arrested twice, with no charges ever being pursued. One of the arrests was for drunk driving. In just about every state, by statute, charges have to be filed if there is any objective evidence collected of driving while intoxicated. DUI arrests being tossed by the District Attorney are quite rare, and typically only occur in cases of police misconduct. And, in fact, the result was that it was the officer who was investigated for brutality against Porter.

So, these arrests tell me much more about the biases of the police doing the arresting than the person being arrested.
Maybe Porter is a loudmouth. But so what? It's legal. If a cop gets in your face, you can tell him to go fornicate with his partner, and it's perfectly legal. But lots of people don't particularly care for mouthy black men, especially cops in known racist strongholds such as interior Pennsylvania, and then the brutalizing of innocent civilians ensues.
In this specific instance, Porter may well have been at fault - my only point was to show reasons to wait on coming to that conclusion.
