Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
Damn Lions. This was a chance to turn the corner. Eh, the better team with the better QB won. It's still early but besides the Pats, who's in the SB? The obvious pick would be Dallas, I guess. I wouldn't count the Giants out. The Giants get hot at the right time, and they have the "psychological edge." From a fan who doesn't have a horse in this race, I wouldn't mind seeing Eli vs. Tom III.
12-4 with a playoff appearance? If you had told me that when the season started I would have jumped all over it. But there's no way i wanted to see such a promising season fishtail like this! Let's see what Cook can do as I believe he,ll be our QB in Houston on Saturday.

Dolphins don't have a prayer in Pittsburgh. But, this is more than I expected from the Dolphins. As long as they build on this for next season I'll have some hope.
I'm already seeing rumors that Belichick will bring in Chip Kelly to replace Josh McDaniels.

I think Stafford's injured finger on his throwing hand is still having significantly more impact than he wants to admit. Ever since the injury happened his accuracy has not been the same. The fact that the Lions #1 and #2 running backs are injured is not helping either. Of course Rogers is on a roll and has looked amazing the last few games.

In the "what if" dept.: If the Cheese get back 2 of their 6 injured secondary before next Sunday (a real possibility according to ESPN) and Rodgers continues his otherworldly current performances, they can beat (& even embarrass) anybody anywhere.

Uh, they rushed for 152 yards. That was different.
Odd, that people would be complaining about the Giants "throwing" a game when they were the team who had NOTHING to gain from a win. They had Eli and most of their starters playing in the final minute for crissake!
They will need to run like that again next week or "AROG" might do another discount double check.

All of the teams in the playoffs are flawed, but some are more flawed than others. I'll be surprised if one of those teams with "gaping holes" (ie, significant flaws) puts together a run and goes the distance.
I think Pittsburgh is the only AFC team that can challenge New England. However, their recent history against them has not been good!
Atlanta has the goods to go to the Super Bowl, but they have also been known to choke a la Romo in big games.

I don't see anyone challenging NE. Well, in the Superbowl, only the Giants can put the fear of God in them. Really, Eli/Tom 3 would be entertaining. I don't think Dallas, Green Bay, or Atlanta stand a chance against the Pats.
So there we have it folks! On to the next leg. Don't care much for the guessing game on who's gonna win other than my team...in which case, I would be pretty happily surprised if Giants make it to Dallas. But who knows? This is why they play the games baby! Can't wait...
