Fins don't play a +500 team until the Pat's last week of the season. They haven't beaten a +500 team all season. I wouldn't get too excited yet.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

Raiders gifted a game by poor calls, all which went their way.. There was that 1st quarter TD where the player was called out of bounds, and then not one, but TWO questionable spots late in the 4th with the Texans driving... I'll take it though! 8-2 and in the driver's seat in the best division in football! Who da thunk it?!

Have to agree with you, Yves. I didn't see the TD, but those spots were terrible, and may have been the difference.

Just overall, I think the officiating has been noticeably worse this year. Even some of the commentators have remarked on it.

It's very frustrating when the commentators give the officials a pass and completely ignore blatantly awful calls.

I never realized until just now how perceptive you are, Ian.

Those 2 spot calls quite possibly changed the game's outcome imho.

Matt Stafford reminds me alot of Philip Rivers - the good and the bad.

Thing is, they're both in the top fifteen among NFL QBs. You're not going to draft someone better unless you tank a season--and even that's no guarantee. And you're not going to win with them unless you build a team for them. And neither Detroit nor SD seem able to build winning teams. So you're stuck.

If you get rid of a top fifteen QB, it's a clear sign that you're not going to compete next year.

Now with all that said, given a depressed NFC North, Detroit will probably go to the playoffs. But does anyone expect them to go far? So you keep Stafford another year and hope to compete.
I want to dynamite your mind with love tonight.
