Jerry Jones is a football idiot, but even he can't screw this up. Romo is a backup now.

He's been an NFL QB and has called plays for over a year now. Plenty of experience.

Sproles is a phenom. He's like a video game RB with a cheat code.

He started for the Eagles the year McNabb was drafted. And was still in on all of the meetings, etc.

Bottom line: no excuse for some of the awful play-calling tonight.

There is zero chance that Romo will be Prescott's backup when healthy. You clearly have no idea what you are watching.

Dak has to royally screw up now In order to lose the starting spot. It's not like Romo was the second coming of Staubach or anything. Hell, he ain't the second coming of Aikman. He's a second-rate Danny White. NOT a sacrilege if Prescott keeps the starting position.

It's not about it being a sacrilege, it's the fact that he has only a fraction of Romo's ability right now. Romo will make the offense score a lot more points. Romo probably won't be ready to go for a couple of more weeks so, obviously, Prescott will continue to play.

that Philly D is serious! The pressure they put on Dak was almost too much for the kid. I expect the last game of the regular season will have the opposite outcome up in the north

Raiders set an NFL record for accepted penalties in one game...and still win!

It was obvious that the refs were color blind and only seeing black. You would need to completely ignore one team in order to call that many penalties on the other. Imagine what the score could have been if the Raiders didn't give away 200 yards in penalties!

I don't think Al took pride in an undisciplined team, he just overlooked it if the team just won baby....

They are very, very young. So far the new guys look solid, but not star caliber.

As far as draft position goes, I don't think there's a true franchise quarterback in next year's draft. There are other positions of need, though.

In the press conference I saw, he was complaining about hits in the pocket. He said he didn't feel safe, and specifically mentioned shots at his knees. The commentators seemed to think he had a legitimate gripe.

His OL has not exactly been stellar, that's for sure.

No. But that doesn't mean he isn't afforded the same protection as every other fucking QB in the league.

Hell, Palmer took nearly the same hit in the pocket that Newton took, and the flags came flying.

Below the knees, in the pocket, QB is protected. That's the rule.

And that bullshit about him being a running QB? It's not like that's the first thing he does? He's not a RB who can sort of throw. He is a pocket passer who has more designed runs scripted for him than any other QB. But he's still a QB.

And, yes, he's petulant and self-serving and whiny. None of that means he doesn't deserve the same protection as every other QB in the fucking league.

no argument that Romo would be the better choice if he wasn't so injury prone. Let's face it, it isn't worth disrupting momentum and team chemistry to switch QBs until it's an absolute "have to" situation. Belichick stuck with the hot hand when Bledsoe got hurt and that worked out rather well. Parcells stuck with Romo when he was the hot hand. Too bad Romo is made of the same porcelain that Bledsoe was.
