So nice to flip the script on Dallas this year for a change!
Oliver Vernon played one hell of a game. Victor Cruz is back and the OL performed when needed most at the end, opening holes for Jennings to kill the clock and their TO's.
Also bad play by Williams at the end, but DRC had that sideline covered, he was not getting there.

Arizona D getting carved up early by Brady-less, Gronk-less Pats. Not a great sign for them.
Long season for the Cheese if they play like they did today pulling a win out of their ass against the Jags.

Good to see that some of us are already in mid-season form.

If Williams went right for the sideline after that catch like he should have he would have made it. Of that there's no doubt. But you know what? He didn't and I'm glad
Typical frustrating and nail-biting Cowboy/Giant game.

Did any team really dominate their opponet. I was at the Ravens game and their defense totally dominated the Bills offense but Flacco looked a scared little girl out there. We now have three or four burners and we throw one long pass for a touchdown. They should have scored over thirty points but errant passes cut the drives short.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?

When we were ahead in the 4th quarter I knew we wouldn't be able to hold on to the lead with 8-9 minutes left in the game, but we didn't make it easy for them. I still see the same deficiencies in Tannihill that I've seen for the last 4 years. I will say, that one wide open pass for a clear shot to the end zone that was dropped was not Tanny's fault, the receiver should've caught the damn ball. Betcha if the game would've been in Miami Seattle would've dominated and the score would be lopsided. Being my usual, positive, rainbows and unicorns self again this year....
Guys, I removed those posts. With these sports threads it's going to get spirited, but nastiness will not be tolerated.
Anyway, congrats to the Giants for pulling out the close win.
WANTED: Sig-worthy quote.
The decision to go for 2 in that situation is ballsy. The result gets the decision maker labelled genius or fool. The way Brees was moving the ball at will the Raiders did not like thier chances in OT. It's in the books now and we head back home to face the Falcons.

Wanted to mention this yesterday. I actually forgot it was 9/11 yesterday right before the games started. I wasn't offended by Seattle's arm-locking gesture during the Anthem, but what really warmed my heart was seeing a lot of players (black players) standing with their hand over their hearts. Hope this doesn't offend anyone.
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
It's been a bit of a whirlwind off-season for the Eagles (why is there always so much drama around here?), but this Wentz kid looked pretty damn good.

1st half of the Vikings/Titans had the Vikes looking like 2013, 2nd half was almost a return to form. Missed kicks means Walsh has not gotten over the yips from the last playoff game. And now we face the Cheese. Time to coagulate our feces.
