Thread: Wire "154" - Why is it so hard to find?

  1. #26
May be still hard to find this one, but Newman's solo albums from this era have been reissued.

    I'll be ordering soon!

Sounds like it’s going to be a little easier to find soon:

Rolling Stone reports the band is planning to re-release their catalogue.

Haven’t heard anything from Pink Flag. The site only mentions the Record Store Day special.

    That's good news, great news!

The best UK 'punk' band of the 70s in my mind.
I'm an Entertainment! guy myself (I actually consider this and ItCotCK to be the best debut LP's ever) but, like you said, the first two are incredible. Anyone not hip to Gang Of Four is missing out!!!

Hm.. Discogs has 436 pieces of that one, so not really hard to find...

So Fitted sounds exactly what you think would happen if you combined Minutemen's rhythm section with the more fuzzy, synth-y guitars of Wire.

If you're a fan of both bands, or even just one of them, or you like, you know, music, it should probably be something you purchase.
