Bands that made only one album but you wish they had recorded more!

Only one comes immediately to mind.

    Kino

( I know a tour CD of Demos & live tracks was also released but that doesn't count)

Two more have come to mind.

GTR-the songs I've heard for the intended second album are quite strong.

    3-Ditto as above.

Kino's next two albums were basically the two It Bites albums, "The Tall Ships" and "Map of the Past." The only real difference is the name and the bassist, but the sound/songwriting difference is all but negligible.

England and Moth Vellum both came to mind.
Speaking of Blind Faith, how about Derek and the Dominoes?

    Power Tools:
    Bill Frisell, electric guitar
    Melvin Gibbs, electric bass
    Roland Shannon Jackson, drums

Released one album, Strange Meeting, in 1987.
I really wish they had continued on.

I'll second Ad Infinitum and Il Trono Dei Ricordi.

I will add Codice from Mexico, their one and only Alba & Ocaso is excellent.
I know they are working on their second but since it has not been released Sound of Contact would qualify for this list.

    One more:

Pig Farm On The Moon from Venezuela, I absolutely love their one album Orbital from 2003. Their performance at BajaProg '03 was very good.

    I second Kino.
A second Armageddon album would've been nice.
