    Well, I know next to nothing about jazz, but I am guessing MD is Miles Davis simply because he gets so many mentions on the forum. I wouldn't have recognised him.

    LA I suppose is Louis Armstrong? Again, wouldn't have picked him from the photo, I always thought he was a much older man.

    Bob, the give away of that one trumpeter sculpture is him playing while holding his trumpet leaning to the floor, so far as I know only Miles Davis does that, he does not play his trumpet straight or raised upwards
