I blame Wynton, what was the question?

And no news from John Wetton who underwent surgery last year for a removal of a malignent mass. His latest message, dated august 25th 2015 was not reassuring:

A special note from John Wetton: "I start chemo 2moro--I urge everyone to be checked for cancer regulary 'cause cancer growth is rapid--and before you know it---agonising"

Does anyone have more updated info's about him ? Hopefully he will recover soon and start touring again.

RIP Maurice. Shining Star and September; maybe not of great interest to proggers, but some damn nice ear candy that is for sure. And the songs have stood the test of time.

I think I read where Wetton recently started his 8th round of chemo and has been writing with Downes for the next Asia album. Hopefully, he beats this disease.

but I'll look forward to meeting him in the resurrection

my deepest sympathies to his loved ones who are still alive
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?

People die all the time. We know that, but it really does seem like this past few months we have a plethora of famous people dying, especially musicians, no? Even the British guys are buying the farm, and they're supposed to live forever.
