I have that CD. Love it! And the last one he did for DG. Des Knaben Wunderhorn & Symphony No. 10 (Adagio)

These two got me started on my Mahler journey. BTW, I ordered a copy of that Boulez Erato box for 23 and change. I can't wait to dig into that! I already have one disc from that box which is the Elliott Carter. The oboe concerto is very impressive!

Also been listening to piano sonata no.2 by Jumppanen on DG.

There was an excellent documentary about P.B. yesterday on TV. Most incredible was the footage of Boulez pointing out to Stravinsky an error he (P.B.) had detected in the score of “Le Sacre du Printemps”!
