A great Lady left us...
The only song of hers I ever heard was that "duet" she did with her father. Was that the beginning of her career?
I think her breakout hit was "This Will Be (an Everlasting Love)."
She was a great singer, even if not as great as her dad. R.I.P. Natalie.
The entire "unforgettable" CD is certainly a must have for almost anyone who enjoys the swing era of music. I still listen to it with regularity and its an amazing collection of her dads hits. Too bad her dad was not still around to record it because it is a phenomenally well recorded album. Real instruments and players - not just Midi'd together. It made me a huge fan until i realized her other stuff just wasnt anywhere near as good. I tried, but she lost me as a pop artist.
RIP Natalie, now she can really pull off those duets with her dad.
I got nothin' :

This is the song I most associate with her:
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883...
A great singer indeed. I thought her dad's voice was just smooth as silk. I didn't care for her voice as much. RIP to a great lady.

RIP
Anyone know what she died of? All I read was .....long illness. Either cancer or addiction?

When my wife and I started dating over 20 years ago, I bought her Close to the Edge for her birthday (along with some other more normal birthday stuff). A few weeks later she bought me Unforgettable for mine. I didn't know much about Nat or Natalie before that but I played it a lot and really grew to love it. I still pull out Unforgettable for a few spins every year. I don't think she ever listened to CTTE though...
