^^^ Pawn Hearts isn't twee either. If you want a twee Whitehead cover I'd vote for Foxtrot! (Of course both albums are great).
I think an album cover can be twee and great. Happy the Man and Foxtrot both fill the bill for me.

A lot of these covers do have twees on them, I've noticed.

I wouldn't call that cover twee though.
Annie must have gone commando that day to have them all so riled up.
This, however, is nothing but trouble.
Those are what I heard one preacher refer to as "the inflatable Christian hairdo."
Just about all of these fail by that measurement. Best to just forget the terminology here.

Twee - Excessively or affectedly quaint, pretty, or sentimental.
I disliked this album cover so much when I saw it back in the 1970's that the wretched thing has stayed in my mind ever since:

oh man, you should some of my reggae compilation albums.....some of them leave very little to the imagination, in fact there are books devoted to the subject, and I have a couple of them.
It's not the implied nudity or eroticism that bothered me. It's the over the top forced emotion.
Ah ha, I see. The fake love in other words.
