Not a bad article. However, there are a lot of generalizations that the author stated he wanted to avoid.

A nice article though yes, the TFTO thing again.

The only dodgy album from their debut through to 90125 is Tormato, in my view. That's a long run of important releases, and big-selling ones if you overlook the weaker selling first two albums.

Their concert attending base of fans over 40+ years is also very substantial. Compare that to most of the other inductees over the years. Throw album sales in, and the argument against them appears completely unfounded.

^I like the idea of a Rock Hall in principle, and have no issue with most of the artists that are in there, but there clearly are agendas at play which is a shame.
