Having a '18 Bourbon County Stout on tap. Things could be worse
This mornings breakfast was an Odd Side Ales Rye Hipster Brunch Stout along with an omelette and toast. A good way to start the day.

I blame Wynton, what was the question?
There are only 10 types of people in the World, those who understand binary and those that don't.
I'm having a Simcoe Revenge, a single-hopped (100% Simcoe) Double IPA from Revision Brewing Co. in Sparks, NV. Bitter and twisted, as Mr. Daltrey might say. I like it.

revving up t another double-blind beer evaluation with the wife...
I have cold:
Imperial Stout
Coconut Porter
Coffee Porter
Brown Ale
Smoked Porter
I'm leaning toward one of the Porter styles for this evaluation
Why is it whenever someone mentions an artist that was clearly progressive (yet not the Symph weenie definition of Prog) do certain people feel compelled to snort "thats not Prog" like a whiny 5th grader?
we did Coffee Porter
the previous champion was Kona Pipeline but it was unseated tonight by Big Sky Cowboy Coffee

Be sure and have some of this when it becomes available. Brewers across the country are brewing it or at least selling it, starting soon. Proceeds go to help victims of the "Camp Fire" in Paradise, California.
I finally got to try a Founder's Breakfast Stout. Not bad at all. The coffee part of it must work, because I am still awake. So far as I know, Founder's is the only breakfast stout available in my neck of the woods.
Breakfast Stout is a cute way of saying Coffee Stout

Although I carefully peruse the craft beer section of any store that sells them (see what the demise of record stores has reduced me to?), I have yet to see either of those. Someone does not want us having a variety of breakfast stouts. There are at least two large liquor stores in another town where I have yet to look. Not today, though. I ain't going down that long, lonesome road all by myself in this snowstorm. Better to listen to Hatfield and the North and watch the flakes fall outside my window.Originally Posted by SteveSly

Looks like Trillium, Lord Hobo & Night Shift are participating locally.
