^^ Suddenly "Last Christmas" by Wham does not seem so bad.
I never liked Wham! (correct spelling) much, except for the song "Everything She Wants", but I do enjoy me some George Michael.
My favorite rock and roll Christmas number is Roy Wood's "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday." I think Roy out-produced Phil Spector at his own game with that number.
Never cared for Slade's "Merry Christmas, Everybody." Always thought they could have done something heavier and catchier than that.

But I do enjoy some George Michael.

BTW, have you seen the Hugh Grant/Drew Barrymore film Words & Music? A romcom with obvious nods towards the Michael/Ridgley relationship.
