Nobody is watching the Stanley Cup Finals?Is everyone just posting on the Yes 50th anniversary tour? Well it is looking like the Caps are finally going to win one. Their playing well and not hitting the post when they do get opportunities.

I'm watching it and am glad that the team that eliminated mine (Tampa Bay) looks like they'll finally lift the trophy. The Caps are playing as if they deserve it, whereas Frankenteam appears to be sufficiently satisfied with having already achieved enough.

Snow had 12 years without much success.
Weight lost the team in the second half. No hustle from many players. Leading the league in goals against may be part of a goalie problem but leading the league in shots against is an effort problem. Some games there had less hits than a one hit wonder. Finally, he couldn't find a way to get the penalty killers to stay on the ice for two minutes very often.
The Islanders have to show they are trying if they want a shot at keeping Tavares. It also doesn't matter if they play in Brooklyn or Uniondale or Belmont, if they do not have a good team and it doesn't always seem like it is at least trying, the fans will not come.
Hockey is much better when the locals aren't fighting for the worst record in the division!

Congrats to the Caps. They played a great series. Another franchise with a long losing finally gets off the hook. A great player gets his name on the Cup after a long wait. Good to see.
Happy for Ovie, even happier for Trotz and Backstrom.
Glad the diehards in Vegas were generous enough to give up their seat so that so many Caps fans could see their team clinch the Cup tonight. You won't find truer hockey fans anywhere...

The hockey Gods suck. 7 posts in two games. That was tough to watch.

Trump un-invited the NFL champs, Says he won't invite the NBA champs. I'll bet he invites the NHL champs, he has no problem inviting Russians to the White House.
Your team had a great season and in some ways kind of became "America's Team" in many parts of the country. Maybe they overachieved, but it was a lot of fun to watch.......and this is coming from a Red Wings fan.
I was rooting for Vegas, but Ovechkin getting his name on the cup is a silver lining.
I think I read where the Caps hit more posts than Vegas.
