Good luck, fellas!I was struggling with the fact there was a chance I'd have to root for Philly the next 2 rounds! I would have, dude. Well...Boston/Philly is a toss up. I hate Pitt and Montreal almost as much as Isles and Devils.

I guess. I don't think it was home-ice that won it for the Rangers. I just think they amped it up when they had to, and were masters at blocking shots. Lundqvist came up big when he had to and the Flyers were just inexplicably flat during much of the series.
But, again, the better team won.
Unfortunately, I think the Flyers match up better against the Penguins.

I watched most of the Avalanche/Wild game. Back and forth it went, the Wild were down twice in the 3rd period, then they finally tie it with 2 miuntes left, and win in overtime! So the Blackhawks regain home-ice advantage.

I am of the belief that Boston is the team to beat of the remaining 8, and it won't be Montreal who stands in their way...not this year! We were last 2 years ago so I love the progress, but Boston's hour is now.

The officiating in the NYR/PHI series was horrible, in both directions. Can hardly wait to see what a clown show it becomes when Skid the Kid and the patented, Bettman-mandated "hands-off" policy becomes part of the mix.
The officiating in any Penguins game is insufferable. A major blemish on the sport.

I read it a few days ago, but I don't think it was "official" until today.
TSN leaked it yesterday. He was never a fit for that team imo... Rangers did well to part ways with him and then to immediately snag Vigneault. Look where the respective teams are now, and Vancouver has more talent on paper; allegedly...
