Bad Elephant Music is excited to announce the addition of Italian art-rock/progressive outfit N.y.X to its thriving roster of diverse acts.
The multi-instrumental trio is joined by a number of impressive guest artists to build on the signature sound of a power trio enhanced by electronic percussion, synthesizers and effects. The News, the band’s second full-length album, is a concept piece that focuses on electronica while maintaining a singular iconoclastic and progressive approach.

From the Court of the Crimson King, Adrian Belew and Trey Gunn add their matchless genius to the tracks 'A Sarcastic Portrait' and 'The Daily Dark Delirium' respectively, and enhance this conceptual tale, one that is inspired by reality and a sort of caustic detachment, a protagonist in a psychological crisis at the edge of schizophrenia.

This incredible new album also benefits from the contributions of Cuban jazz pianist Ivan Napoles Bridon and cellist Marco Allocco.

Danilo A. Pannico (N.y.X ): “We are proud to become part of the BEM family with our new album The News. We are looking forward to a professional collaboration, one where we can grow up together on international level with a shared passion for great music.”

Martin Hutchinson (BEM): “From the first note it was apparent that there is nothing quite like the highly original sound that Danilo, Walt and Klod create. N.y.X is at the forefront of avant-garde, experimental progressive rock and it is a pleasure to be involved with this release. A real musical breath of fresh air!”

The News will be released in early 2016.
