Quorum - Another World and Klubkin's Voyage

Just stumbled upon these at Kinesis (you might want to read their little write up as it links to some reviews), then checked out this Russian band on Bandcamp. Sounded great so I downloaded both their more recent albums. Very cool stuff with some very vintage sounding Genesis moves, but still kind of unique and charming -- at first blush anyway. But definitely up my alley. I like this sort of indie sounding symphonic prog!

Thanks for pointing this out. I wanted to get their Klubkin's Voyage album in a downloadable format when it was originally released a few years back, but it wasn't available anywhere. Glad to see they now have a bandcamp site. Cool band for sure!

Yeah, I agree. There's something very familiar about them (neo-symph-prog, definite Genesis sounds) and also very exotic and different (Russian vocals). And While the vocals are in Russian, they're also sort of typically neo-prog - as in not very distinctive, which I actually don't mind and find kind of fits.
