Sonus Umbra announce new album and tour

SONUS UMBRA are about to hit the road for a 25th Anniversary North American tour,
alongside instrumental guitar powerhouse MIGHT COULD. They'll kick things off at Shank Hall in Milwaukee,
followed by a full multimedia extravaganza/ record release show for their new album Beyond the Panopticon at Wire,
Chicago. The band will then tour the East Coast to continue promoting the album.

Confirmed SONUS UMBRA / MIGHT COULD 2016 TOUR DATES
    01/08 – Milwaukee, WI @ Shank Hall
    01/09 – Chicago, IL @ The Wire
01/16 – Baltimore, MD @ Orion Sound Studios
    01/17 – Dunellen, NJ @ Roxy & Duke’s

Sonus Umbra came to life in 1991, formed by a group of physics and math students in Mexico City who drew from
their shared love for all things dark, hard rocking and melodic. 25 years later, the band continues casting shadows
made of sound. Sonus Umbra has played most progressive rock festivals in North America, from ROSfest to Terra
Incognita, sharing stages along the way with the likes of Spock’s Beard, Stick Men, Haken, Thank You Scientist,
and Glass Hammer. The band’s new studio album, Beyond the Panopticon is a showcase of the band at its most
elaborate and ferocious, yet it is also their most melodic material to date.

You can order the album directly from the band (including a special bonus download not available with the CD)
starting November 17th, 2015. Available in stores January 5th.

Please get in touch with Mara Kovacevic at trinitykov@gmail.com for guest list, interviews, or promo copies of
    Beyond the Panotpticon.

    Fuck fuck yeah yeah!

Just had to double up on one of my main men.

Listen to this band if you haven't. They don't sound like some 60s-70s band revisited. They sound like Sonus Umbra.

Good luck with this, hopefully you'll swing by somewhere close to Boston. Have fun.
