Steve Hackett-The Man, The Music Documentary

I am currently plowing through a documentary on Steve Hackett. Anyone else made their way through this? I know for a fact that Steve Hackett isn't as boring or disengaged as he appears in these interviews. It reminds me of the Mike Rutherford autobiography. It's almost like he wasn't there. A dispassionate observer more than a participant. And the structure, footage and editing doesn't even approach a lack of imagination.

I've got this DVD, I watched it straight through in one sitting, very enjoyable. Good to see other interviewees on there too. Better than the Mike R autobiog I'd say but it is kind of an amateur production.

It was ok. I was hoping for a lot of cool performances. Kinda dry...
