    Henry Cow -- Vol #3 - Hamburg

    Listening to this today - struck by how damn good this truly is - the sound is stellar - the performance is other worldly - the improvs are so friggin good and how they mix in fragments of songs is too awesome. Anyone know why they didnt include Ruins on this? I guess a CD can only hold so much - but it really is a huge miss that it isnt presented here.

    The Ruins from Hamburg and two other sections of improvision are on the A Cow Cabinet of Curiosities CD of extras, that came with the live boxes when they first came out. Not sure whether this is still available, if you haven't already got it.

    And the Hamburg CD is indeed great!
