    Pandora Snail

Is it me or is their debut album, War And Peace, really, really good? I am truly blown away by these Russians. It might be my favorite record of 2015 - and that's saying a lot in a year that has seen some great albums come out.

Haven't heard it, but I seem to have heard of it. Description? Link?

If any country should be capable of producing great symphonic prog, it would be Russia, considering their musical heritage, not to mention that vast amount of history from which they could draw for lyrical inspiration.

I am liking this. Thanks! Also been listening to the Galactic Cowboy Orchestra. Must be in a rock violin kind a place.

The Pandora Snail album is very good indeed, diverse and recommended to anyone who likes a violin in the mix. Here's my review at The Progressive Aspect:-
