Probably a few months. There are so many other things we still need to sort out - including :
    • Get donations system working
    • Chat Room
    • Add a few more smilies
    • Convert all of the reviews, articles & interviews
    • Facebook interface (if we want it)
    • Extract and and publish a few legacy threads from PEv2
    • Turn on blogs (if we want them)
    • Concert Calendar
    • Turn off PEv2, redirect to here - has to be done in phases

    And...

    Mobile app.

We're busy prioritizing these updates. Meantime - if you go to the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, there's a drop-down box that allows you to change the style - one of the options is 'mobile'. Like the old PE-Mobile, it isn't an app - it's a mobile-friendly version of this system. Much easier to navigate on a phone or a pad.
    Regards,

    Duncan

Actually I find the full version doing quite well on my iPad from a navigation point of view. Especially the Top button at the bottom of each thread is really nice.

Get this. I'm accessing PE on my iPhone and it automatically (?) switched me over to a mobile portal called "Bulletin" with a checkmark icon in front of it. And it works

Will have to see how the 'mobile' version plays out on my Palm webOS tablets and phones.

Anyone use android-based device to access? If so, how does it look?

I'm liking it so far on my droid. Scrolling isn't quite as fast as the old site when scrolling the list of threads. Once you are in a thread that is fine.

I agree with Christian regarding the iPad, this is a good and easy to use interface, and the top button is a real help.

I've been browsing here on my android phone regularly (because the site is blocked at work). I don't post very often because it's just too much of a pain to try and post with a soft keyboard. But I've noticed that the mobile version doesn't have a lot of the same features as the full version. You can switch to the full version on your smart phone but then scrolling becomes a nightmare.
